Matt and Libiss’s story began in 1986 when a neighborhood game of hide-and-seek sparked a childhood friendship that blossomed into young love. Life eventually took them on different paths, Matt heading west to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit, opening a pizza shop and exploring new ideas, while Libiss built in Charleston. In 2005, their paths crossed again, and they quickly rediscovered the connection that had always been there. They married in 2013, ready to build something lasting together.

Their shared passion for wellness took root as Libiss explored plant-based alternatives in her search for better health, an experience that opened their eyes to the power of simple, functional ingredients. What began as a personal journey soon became a mission. Matt’s drive for innovation and community building led to the launch of High Rise in 2022, a drink that reflects their belief in living fully and creating moments worth celebrating.

Today, Matt and Libiss call Charleston home, where they savor coastal life with their dog, Waylon, and continue to pour their hearts into a brand that invites everyone to embrace life’s best moments with purpose, balance, and connection.
