Matt and Libiss met as kids in 1986, a friendship that grew into young love before life took them in different directions—Matt pursuing ventures out west, Libiss building her life in Charleston. Reconnecting in 2005, they married in 2013 with a shared dream of creating something together.

Libiss’s search for better health sparked a passion for plant-based, functional ingredients, and Matt’s drive for innovation turned that vision into High Rise in 2022—a drink for living fully and celebrating the moment. Today, they call Charleston home with their dog, Waylon, pouring their energy into a brand built on purpose, balance, and connection.
